It’s that time of the year! Probably the most talked about and blogged sales event ever. I would like to say I am kidding, but honestly after you surf Instagram during this sales event, you start to get over it and ready for the sale end. Myself included.
So, the key to get over it is to be a cardholder with Nordstrom. I don’t necessarily condone getting credit cards, but if there was a retailer card worth getting, this is it. Use it for this “one sale” so you can gain early access to the annual Anniversary Sale then put it away.
Why this card is worth it? 1) Cardholders get early access before the sale opens to the public…almost a whole week of shopping 2) Secure the latest trending Fall items 3) Items sell out super fast, so you have a fighting chance of getting some cool fashionable pieces.
I have found that Nordstrom will release more items as the sale progresses. You have to keep checking after they sell out for any items that you absolutely felt you missed out on. But, of course…once the sale is over, those items are replenished at the original price.
The Anniversary Sale is fabulous because you can get the latest trends in the upcoming Fall Season NOW during this amazing sale. Not only is it an early release, but you get tremendous discounts. My advice is to purchase your fall/winter boots, booties, and shoes. Find your favorite designer jeans and get them during this sale. Also, if you like an item you should buy it and return it in the event it doesn’t work out. Easier to return something that you thought you liked than to not get it because it sold out.
My last piece of advice is to check out as you go. Crazy, right?!? Trust me, check out as you go. Sizes and items will be not available to you if you put it in your shopping cart and try to browse for other items. You will thank me for this piece of advice. Below are some of my favorite picks.
