Bringing Florals into Trousers

Trousers.  Trousers.  Is it just me or is that word kind of odd? I personally like to refer to my trousers as pants. Pants seems so much more logical and certainly, a less complicated word. Trousers actually seems kind of formal and stuffy. Anyway, enough of me analyzing a word.  Laugh out loud.

Let’s move on along to the topic of expanding florals into your wardrobe beyond a dress or blouse. Now, lets take it a step further and take floral prints on to our pants.

Bringing florals on to your pants makes such a bold statement. I think it speaks volumes in saying that you are a confident and strong person. When you slip on a pair of floral pants, trust me…you will get noticed for the print. After all, prints are bold!  Here’s a fabulous pair of pants with a nice large floral print. I’ve styled it for a career look with the blazer; however, simply remove the blazer and you have easily transitioned into a dinner look that is sure to turn a few heads.

The wide legs on these pants allows for the print to be showcased. I just love how this look came together. I say not to let any print deter you from considering it. Grab those bold floral print pants and try them on. Sometimes things on a hanger don’t always highlight their full potential of how great a piece actually is worn. This holds true for most all clothing…a piece of clothing on a hanger most always looks different once draped on your body. You typically never see the designers true intention of a style or cut with it on a hanger. I try to never walk away from something that I am drawn to. In this case, I have been obsessed with Fall florals and this print definitely spoke to me and drew me in.
