Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! We hosted the festivities at our house and the day was a success. My mom and I managed to cook for over 20 people. We had a round 1 seating with just my immediate family and in-laws then a round 2 seating with my Mom’s side of the family including my siblings, uncles, and many cousins. I get my love of cooking from my Mom, so needless to say…no one starved. We had three turkeys (no joke), 2 hams, 2 pork loins, brisket and all the wonderful traditional sides (sweet potato/corn/green bean casserole, potato salad, pasta salad, black eyed peas, cornbread dressing, and a fabulous antipasta platter. Our guests all brought amazing desserts. It was sooo good!!! Everyone was able to go home with leftovers. I think that was my Mom’s plan all along. LOL.
