One Year Blogiversary!

I can’t believe how fast time flies by, especially when you are having fun.  It’s been one whole year, (I am technically a week late in posting this) since my blog launched on August 3rd.  As they say, better late than never.

Dash Of Luxe is officially a year old.  For me, the main purpose of starting a blog was to have something that I could call my own.  An avenue or outlet in which I could be creative, a place where I express myself, share my feelings, share my passions and maybe, along the way inspire others.

Let me tell you, this blogging adventure has been so much more.  My blogging journey has been such a fun way to express myself and it has led me to meeting so many phenomenal bloggers around the world.  I love meeting new  people and what better way than to connect with likeminded people who share my passion through blogging and Instagram.

As a person who juggles a lot, from being a wife, a mother, and a career professional…most everything I do is for everyone else and I tend to put myself last. Blogging has given me a chance to put myself right up there in the ranks of everyone else.  It has allowed me to share all the things that I love.  Whether it is fashion, travel, home, or life in general…I want to share those things with anyone who wants to hear about them.

Another reason I wanted to start a blog was to share some of my travel experiences. With my work travels taking me to various places across the U.S., I thought I could share some of destinations in hopes that you will take time to discover our great country.  There are so many fabulous cities and quaint towns. All, of which are right under our noses and we just need to take the time to find and visit these little gems.

Don’t get me wrong, blogging isn’t easy as some people can be so critical. I don’t let the noise interfere and I stay true to myself.  You should always surround yourself with people who bring out the best version of YOU.  Juggling it all, can be quite chaotic at times, but I have managed to balance my world of chaos.  I love to work hard, so that I can play harder.

In addition to my love for fashion, I love to cook and have a passion for interior design. We will be building and designing our second custom home from the ground up. I can’t wait to share my journey with our new home with you.
