I am almost certain that most all of us own a pair of joggers and probably have at least one of two pairs in our closets. Other than casual wear, have you ever considered wearing or styling them into a dressier look? Well, I really had not thought about it or even considered it. Believe it or not, your joggers CAN be dressed up for a day or work look. The extent of me wearing joggers was completely for lounging around the house or maybe, running an errand to the grocery store and that was it.
You would typically not ever catch me wearing these beyond a lounge look; however, my mind was quickly changed when I stumbled upon these fabulous joggers while at Nordstrom Rack. These are a rayon/polyester blend so they have the versatility of being dressed up or down. After grabbing these, I immediately went through the store to see what I could style them with. I found this unbelievably priced velvet blazer and knew at that moment the look I was going for.
Here is a great look for an office or holiday party.
Taking off my blinders and seeing beyond the loungewear, I switched it up for a day look with the quick change of a tee, casual jacket and some booties. This look would even look great with some great casual tennis shoes and denim jacket. (This jacket is from Socialite and was at Nordstrom Rack. Link was not available, so I provided a similar jacket as an option)
